Architectural Punch List (APL) Module
| The Architectural Punch List (APL) manages the entry, update and resolution of architect punch issues. It is seamlessly integrated with the Contractor's Punch List (CPL), so that issues detected by the architect are immediately sent to the Contractor for resolution, and upon resolution, are returned to the architect for final confirmation.
Like the CPL, the APL enables users to view rooms ready for punching, search existing issues and update room status in the field. Colorized floor plan displays quickly show the status of each room. A user-friendly punch window allows field personnel to quickly enter punch items and automatically assigns the appropriate subcontractor to perform the work. Punch list data entered in the field on tablet PCs' is synchronized with the online FreightTrain database, and can be viewed from desktop PC's by any qualified user (including authorized Contractors) through the standard FreightTrain web interface. FreightTrain's online database allows APL data searches to be performed using any number of search criteria such as punch status, location by level, floor, quadrant, area or room number, issue type, responsible subcontractor, etc. Visual Fragnet reports and metric reports are easily generated from the secure central server. In addition, large batches of documents can be updated simultaneously from the online website.
